Reactivity & Aggression Management

£200.00

This service provides structured, evidence-based behaviour modification for dogs displaying reactive or aggressive behaviours. It is suitable for cases where behaviour is escalating, safety is a concern, or previous training approaches have not been effective.

Referral-appropriate cases include dogs with a history of reactivity, bite incidents or near-misses, frustration-based aggression, redirection, or poor impulse control around triggers.

Each consultation involves a comprehensive assessment to identify triggers, emotional drivers, and behavioural thresholds. From this, a tailored behaviour modification plan is developed using desensitisation and counter-conditioning protocols, alongside practical management strategies to reduce risk and support day-to-day safety.

Where appropriate, muzzle conditioning is introduced as a welfare-centred safety tool, ensuring dogs are trained calmly and positively. Owners are supported throughout with clear education and guidance to promote safe, consistent handling and long-term behaviour change.

This is a force-free, welfare-focused service. No aversive tools or techniques are used. Collaboration with veterinary professionals is welcomed where medical or pharmacological support may be indicated.
